The Mindfulness Habit (7 Week Course)

An event every week that begins at 12:00pm on Thursday, repeating until March 16, 2018
Living in the moment allows us to be. Often times we are caught up in the have-to’s of daily life. Everything from work deadlines to garbage day. Kids to sports, school and doctors. Spouses trips screwing up our routines and that co-worker who grates on every single one of our very last nerves.
It’s time to change the way we think, feel and act….
Nothing is more powerful than our brain. The thoughts we have and the events we focus on stem from our decisions on how to see, and interact with, the world around us.
Join us for a seven week course on being mindful and start enjoying life on your terms. Some of the things you’ll learn are breathing techniques to reduce stress, tricking the brain with words, sensory awareness, and clearing blocks.
Some of the benefits you’ll receive are less anger, more happy; worrying or carrying grudges disappears, deeper appreciation for daily experiences, less physical pain, and better, healthier relationships.
This course will meet once per week over the lunch hour. It is recommended you bring a journal, but not a requirement.
