Soulful Journey Through Sound

Illuminations welcomes accredited musician Jonny Lipford and certified sound therapy practitioner Laina Pilkenton of Soul and Sound Healing for an immersive sound experience. Allow yourself to be taken on a journey as you listen to the beautiful sounds of the Native American-style flute, drum, gong, spoken word, voice, and other instruments. This hour-long sound journey is intended to help you enter a peaceful, calm state of mind so you can relax and emerge feeling rejuvenated.
Pre-registration is requested either by calling 319-775-0117 or online at https://www.schedulicity.com/scheduling/IHALHK/classes. $15 is due at the door. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. Yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets are available thanks to the talented staff of Illuminations. Wear comfortable clothing as you will be invited to lay down in savasana (final resting pose in yoga) for the duration of the journey. If you prefer to sit, chairs are available.
